Objective
For the 30th anniversary of Satellite Lovers’ debut album, I wanted to redesign the vinyl sleeve in a way that captures how experimental and unpredictable the songs feel. I played around with mixing textures — building the horse out of ASCII art for that structured, digital feel, then breaking it apart with messy, analog paint splatters and paper textures.
Solution
Adapted the shoot schedule to chase optimal light, embracing dramatic skies and moody tones to enhance the editorial narrative.
